Fiorentina confirm Jakub Blaszczykowski signing

Fiorentina sign Jakub Blaszczykowski on a season-long loan from Borussia Dortmund.

Jakub Blaszczykowski has signed for Fiorentina on a season-long loan from Borussia Dortmund.

The 29-year-old has moved to the Serie A club for an initial fee of £750,00 (€1m) and could sign permanently for a further fee of £4.4m (€6m) at the end of the loan deal.

Blaszczykowski has been a regular for Borussia Dortmund, making 197 appearances since joining in 2007.

However, he has suffered from a number of injuries that have limited his playing time over the past two seasons.
