Team News: Alberto Gilardino starts for Fiorentina against Hellas Verona

Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Montella has named Alberto Gilardino in the starting lineup to face Hellas Verona this evening.

The 32-year-old has made just one start since joining the club on loan from Guangzhou Evergrande in January.

He will play alongside Josip Ilicic and Alessandro Diamanti in the attack, while Mohamed Salah, Mario Gomez and Joaquin are all rested for the club's Europa League tie against Dynamo Kiev on Thursday evening.

Meanwhile, Verona are led by former Viola striker Luca Toni, who has scored 15 goals in Serie A this season.
