Vincenzo Montella hoping for Borja Valero, David Pizarro returns

Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella is hopeful that Borja Valero and David Pizarro will be fit for their Coppa Italia semi-final first leg against Juventus.

Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella has revealed that Borja Valero and David Pizarro could return for Thursday's Coppa Italia semi-final first leg against Juventus.

The pair are currently doubtful for the game in Turin, while Stefan Savic and Nenad Tomovic will both miss the encounter.

Despite injuries affecting his squad, Montella is hopeful that Valero and Pizarro will be back to full fitness in time for their trip to the Juventus Stadium.

"Borja Valero is doing everything possible to recover, Pizarro also," he is quoted as saying by Goal.com. "We will evaluate prior to departure. We will still have a competitive team, but we will be forced into making some changes."

Fiorentina are unbeaten in their last 12 games in all competitions.
