Liverpool stretched their lead to four points in the Premier League and Dillian Whyte won his grudge return with Dereck Chisora.

Mohamed Salah was on target once again as Liverpool won at Wolves on Friday evening, Manchester City suffered a shock home loss to Crystal Palace, interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer saw Manchester United win 5-1 at Cardiff, Leicester defeated Chelsea and Tottenham hit Everton for six.

In boxing there were big title wins for Dillian Whyte and Josh Warrington.
