Utrecht have secured a dramatic 4-2 win over Heracles in Sunday's Eredivisie clash at the Stadion Galgenwaard, with Sebastien Haller scoring a brace in the latter stages of the game.
The visitors broke the deadlock five minutes before half time through Iliass Bel Hassani, who latched onto Oussama Tannane's ball before drilling past Robbin Ruiter.
Utrecht were then left with a mountain to climb when, just before the break, Kevin Conboy was shown a second yellow card, forcing his side to play a man down.
The hosts, however, turned the scoreline around in the space of three second-half minutes, as former Derby County forward Nacer Barazite scored on the hour mark and in the 63rd minute.
Heracles then pulled back level 73 minutes in when Tannane rifled a ferocious long-range effort into the far corner to send the visiting fans into a frenzy.
The final word would nonetheless go to Utrecht because Haller put his side back in front with six minutes to play before making sure of the win with a fourth strike three minutes later.
