Report: Everton consider move for Georgios Samaras

Everton are reportedly considering a move for out-of-contract striker Georgios Samaras.

The 29-year-old, who is currently competing for Greece at the World Cup in Brazil, left Celtic at the end of last season after failing to agree a new deal.

According to the Evening Times, Everton manager Roberto Martinez is tracking the striker as he tries to boost his squad ahead of the new Premier League season.

Samaras scored the winning goal against the Ivory Coast on Tuesday to send Greece into the last 16 of the World Cup.
