John Heitinga to sign new Everton deal?

Everton defender John Heitinga has suggested that he could sign a new contract at Goodison Park.

The 28-year-old reportedly came close to departing the club in the summer, but he is now expected to commit his future to the Toffees.

"I've begun to get used to things here," Heitinga told The Sun.

The Dutchman has made seven appearances for the club this season.
