Everton offered Atletico Madrid defender Kieran Trippier?

Everton have reportedly been offered Atletico Madrid full-back Kieran Trippier, despite interest in Norwich City's Max Aarons.

Trippier has featured 30 times for Diego Simeone's side this season, after being fined £70,000 and serving a 10-match ban for breaking betting rules.

The Toffees are still in the hunt for a Champions League spot as they currently sit eighth in the league, six points behind Chelsea in fourth, but do have a game in hand on Thomas Tuchel's side.

TEAMtalk reports that Carlo Ancelotti will be looking to provide competition in defence for captain Seamus Coleman, but also have their eye on recently-promoted Aarons.

Ben Godfrey made the move from the Canaries to Goodison Park last summer, and it is believed that the Merseyside club will return to Norwich this time in the quest for Aarons.

Trippier has been capped 26 times for his national team and has vast Premier League experience having played for Tottenham Hotspur for four years.
