Everton 'join chase for Ki Sung-yeung'

Everton reportedly prepare to rival AC Milan for the services of Swansea City's Ki Sung-yeung.

Everton have reportedly joined the chase for Swansea City midfielder Ki Sung-yeung.

The South Korean international is out of contract at the Liberty Stadium this summer and, according to Sky Sports News, the Blues are hoping to land him on a free transfer.

AC Milan were previously tipped as the frontrunners to sign Ki, but Everton are said to be one of several Premier League clubs also pursuing him.

Meanwhile, West Ham United attempted to sign the Korean in January as part of the deal which took Andre Ayew back to Swansea.

Ki's agent has reportedly confirmed that his client is currently mulling over a number of firm offers from suitors.
