Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Everton could line up for their Premier League clash with Crystal Palace on Monday evening.

Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti will hope to welcome James Rodriguez back to the fold for Monday's Premier League battle with Crystal Palace at Goodison Park.

The Colombian playmaker trained well over the international break as he looks to shake off a calf problem, and his return could see Alex Iwobi and Gylfi Sigurdsson both make do with spots on the bench.

However, first-choice goalkeeper Jordan Pickford remains absent for the Toffees, so Robin Olsen will hope to be given the nod in between the sticks over the young Joao Virginia.

Ben Godfrey endured a gruelling and ultimately disheartening week with the England Under-21s, and while he is expected to be fit enough for this game, Ancelotti will not be prepared to take any risks and could rely on Mason Holgate at right-back.

Tom Davies has been training normally, though, and the midfielder should make the starting lineup here, while Allan and Andre Gomes are untouchable as Abdoulaye Doucoure and Fabian Delph remain in the medical bay.

The forgotten man Jean-Philippe Gbamin is finally ready for action for the first time since August 2019, but having only just made a return to training, Ancelotti will not throw him back into the first XI for this game.

Everton possible starting lineup:
Olsen; Holgate, Mina, Keane, Digne; Gomes, Allan, Davies; Rodriguez; Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison
