Darron Gibson praises "unbelievable" Nikica Jelavic

Darron Gibson has described Everton teammate Nikica Jelavic as one of the best strikers in the Premier League.

Despite an impressive start to his career at Goodison Park, the Croatian has hit the net twice in his last 10 games.

However, Gibson believes that the forward is still one of the most dangerous players currently operating in the top flight.

"He's first-class and I don't think there's many better than him in the Premier League at the moment," the midfielder told reporters.

"He's definitely up there with the best goalscorers I've played with, to be honest. His finishing is unbelievable."

Sixth-placed Everton travel to West Ham United in the league on Saturday.
