Report: Liverpool didn't make Yevhen Konoplyanka approach

Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk have reportedly claimed that Liverpool never made an official approach for winger Yevhen Konoplyanka.

The Reds were linked with the Ukraine international earlier this year, and was thought to be close to moving to Anfield during the January transfer window.

However, The Express claims that the club's sporting director has said that the team held negotiations with the Reds, but an official bid was never placed.

Liverpool are still thought to be keen on Konoplyanka, while Manchester United have also been linked to the 24-year-old.
