Crystal Palace keen on Peter Odemwingie?

Crystal Palace are understood to want to sign West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie on an emergency loan deal.

Crystal Palace are understood to want to sign West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie on an emergency loan.

Odemwingie is expected to be punished by the Baggies after he tried to force through a move to Queens Park Rangers on transfer deadline day.

However, Palace could now offer the 31-year-old Nigerian a temporary escape route, according to The Telegraph.

West Brom manager Steve Clarke recently suggested that Odemwingie does have a future at the club.
