Crystal Palace confirm Pape Souare signing

Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of defender Pape Souare from Lille for an undisclosed fee.

The Senegal international, 24, has penned a three-and-a-half-year deal at Selhurst Park, subject to a work permit being received.

Souare, who has won five caps for his country, is expected to begin training with his new teammates at the start of next week.

The left-back recently competed at the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal, who reached the last 16 before losing to Algeria.
