Report: PSG step up N'Golo Kante pursuit

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly met with the agent of N'Golo Kante to discuss a summer transfer for the Chelsea midfielder.

The French champions are long-time admirers of the 27-year-old, who has impressed in three successive Premier League campaigns with Leicester City and the Blues.

New boss Thomas Tuchel is also said to be a big fan of the France international and, according to Paris United, the Ligue 1 giants have now stepped up their pursuit.

PSG sporting director Antero Henrique is rumoured to have already held face-to-face talks with Kante's representative Karim Douis in London and Paris since the end of last season.

Kante, voted PFA and FWA Player of the Year in 2016-17, is currently on international duty with France ahead of the World Cup finals.

Les Bleus teammate Kylian Mbappe has publicly called on PSG to go all out to sign the ex-Caen midfielder prior to next season.
