A report claims that Chelsea want to sign Barcelona youngster Marc Cucurella, who will be out of contract at the end of the season.

Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona youngster Marc Cucurella.

The 18-year-old, who currently represents Barcelona B, will be out of contract at the end of this season and it is understood that talks over a fresh deal are yet to begin.

According to Sport, Chelsea are closely monitoring developments with the left-back, but the Blues will face competition from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Everton if they decide to make a move.

Cucurella spent six seasons in Espanyol's youth set-up before joining Barcelona in the summer of 2012. His Barcelona B debut came at home to CE L'Hospitalet on November 26.
