Jose Mourinho wants "great season" for Diego Costa

Jose Mourinho has said that he wants Diego Costa to have a "great season" in the 2014-15 campaign.

The Atletico Madrid striker, whose 27 goals helped the club claim the La Liga title last season, has been linked with a move to Chelsea this summer.

The Stamford Bridge side's manager told AS: "I hope you have a World Cup without setbacks, a great holiday and I hope the next is a great season for him. I don't know where but I hope he can have a fantastic season next season."

Costa recently confirmed that he is likely to move to the London club later this summer.
