Chelsea 'not interested in Kurzawa, Perisic'

Chelsea are reportedly not entertaining a move for either Paris Saint-Germain defender Layvin Kurzawa or Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic at this stage of the January transfer window.

With Ben Chilwell ruled out until the end of the season, the Blues are considering short-term replacements at left wing-back with Marcos Alonso currently the only recognised player in that position.

Chelsea have been linked with a wide array of names, including Kurzawa and Perisic who may be available for transfer for different reasons.

However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, a move for either player appears unlikely with eight days of the month remaining.

Romano adds that Chelsea have also not found a breakthrough with Lyon as they bid to recall Emerson Palmieri from his loan spell.

Although the European champions signed Dylan Williams from Derby County at the weekend, the 18-year-old is unlikely to come into immediate contention for a spot in the senior squad.
