Chelsea midfielder Josh McEachran insists that Rafael Benitez can get the best from Fernando Torres.

Josh McEachran has said that Rafael Benitez is the right man to get the best out of Fernando Torres.

The Spaniard joined Chelsea almost two years ago, but has scored just 26 goals in 100 appearances for the club.

McEachran, who is currently on loan at Middlesbrough, told The Guardian: "I think Rafa Benitez can definitely win round the fans and do well at Chelsea. If anyone can get Fernando Torres, who is still a great player, back to his very best it's him.

"I like Fernando. He's a really nice guy, he's quiet and keeps himself to himself; he's down to earth, really humble. The Spain players all tend to be like that. It's one of the reasons why Andres Iniesta is my role model."

Benitez brought Torres to the Premier League while manager of Liverpool, where the striker netted 81 goals in 142 games.
