Chelsea defender David Luiz has reportedly visited Barcelona twice to undergo assessment from a knee specialist.
The Brazilian has not played for the Blues since the team's 4-1 defeat to Watford on February 5 due to knee and ankle problems.
According to Sky Sports News, the club have sought help from a specialist in Spain, and Luiz hopes to be fit by the end of March.
In total, the defender, who was rumoured to have had a bust-up with manager Antonio Conte earlier in the season, has started 14 games in all competitions, including nine in the Premier League.
Chelsea currently sit fifth in the table, five points adrift of the top four.
