Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Southampton

Chelsea return to action in the Premier League on Tuesday evening when they square off against Southampton at St Mary's.

Thomas Tuchel witnessed his team get back to winning ways on Saturday afternoon as they claimed a much-needed 2-1 win over Leicester City.

Earlier this month, N'Golo Kante was withdrawn during the closing stages against Tottenham Hotspur due to a hamstring injury. While Tuchel has not given a specific time frame for his return, the Frenchman is expected to be absent for a number of weeks.

In what was his first-ever competitive start for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, Gallagher collected two yellow cards within 28 minutes, the second as cynical and idiotic as it gets when already on a caution. The academy graduate will now serve a one-match ban.
