Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Crystal Palace

Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

Chelsea will be looking to take another step towards securing a top-four finish in the Premier League when they face London rivals Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Tuesday night.

Frank Lampard's side returned to winning ways with a 3-0 triumph over Watford on Saturday, bouncing back after a surprise defeat to West Ham United had ended their perfect record since lockdown.

The Blues have won just one of their last six Premier League away games, but take on a Crystal Palace side that has suffered three successive defeats without scoring.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

N'Golo Kante

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

The biggest concern to arise from the win over Watford was a hamstring injury for N'Golo Kante. Lampard is hopeful that the issue is "small" but he is expected to miss this game.

Mateo Kovacic

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: July 11 (vs. Sheffield United)

Mateo Kovacic suffered an Achilles injury during the defeat to West Ham and Lampard has confirmed that he is likely to miss at least two games as a result.

Fikayo Tomori

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: July 11 (vs. Sheffield United)

Fikayo Tomori will return to training this week after a muscle problem, but he will need time to get up to speed and Tuesday's match will therefore come too soon for him.

Marco van Ginkel

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Marco van Ginkel could yet play for Chelsea again after signing a new contract with the club, but his first appearance for them since 2013 is unlikely to come this season as he continues to battle back from a two-year absence.

CHELSEA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Chelsea have no players suspended for this match.
