Marc Cucurella has been recalled to the Chelsea XI for Tuesday's Champions League fixture with Borussia Dortmund.
The summer signing has been absent for the Blues since being introduced as a second-half substitute during the first leg of the last-16 tie at Westfalenstadion.
On that occasion, the Spaniard was used as a left-back, but he will feature in a back three alongside Wesley Fofana and Kalidou Koulibaly.
Cucurella gets the nod ahead of Trevoh Chalobah in the absence of Thiago Silva and Benoit Badiashile, who are injured and ineligible respectively.
The only other change to the team which started against Leeds United on Saturday is the return of Reece James, who replaces Ruben Loftus-Cheek at right wing-back.
Loftus-Cheek was one of a number of alternatives for the Chelsea midfield, but Graham Potter has opted to retain the partnership of Enzo Fernandez and Mateo Kovacic.
Despite Chelsea failing to score a goal from open play since February 11, Raheem Sterling, Joao Felix and Kai Havertz remain in the final third.
