Celtic to move for Jefferson Montero?

Celtic could reportedly move for Villarreal winger Jefferson Montero before the start of next season.

It is understood that Mexican outfit Monarcas Morelia have agreed a £2m fee for the 22-year-old, although Celtic could reportedly swoop at the final moment.

The player himself is keen to remain in Europe, according to the Daily Mail, therefore placing Celtic in a strong position.

Montero has 19 Ecuadorian caps to his name.
