Celtic striker Georgios Samaras has claimed that his side can now focus on increasing their lead in the SPL.
The Bhoys have had an impressive Champions League campaign this season, which has seen them qualify for the knockout stages.
However, now that there is a break in Europe until after Christmas, Samaras has urged his teammates to "open up a gap" in the league.
"Now that we have more rest between the games it's a good time to start winning in the SPL and open up a gap," said the 27-year-old.
"It's not easy, not only for us but for all the teams that play in the Champions League.
"All over Europe teams have been having their ups and downs so hopefully now we will be more focused on the SPL."
Samaras joined the Scottish giants in 2008 from Manchester City.
