Kaka believes that he still has a part to play for Brazil as they gear up for the Copa America this summer.
The 33-year-old, currently playing for Orlando City, has featured for Dunga's side on two occasions, coming on as a substitute against Argentina and Japan.
The former World Player of the Year has praised Dunga for turning around Brazil's fortunes, having won all eight of their matches since crashing out to Germany in the World Cup last year.
Kaka told BBC Sport: "If Dunga thinks I can fit in this team, I'll be ready.
"I think I can still play for Brazil and help with my skills and experience, but it does not depend on me."
The Copa America will take place in Chile from June 11 to July 4.
