Christoph Kramer: 'Bundesliga strong this season'

Christoph Kramer is pleased with Borussia Monchengladbach's performance so far, but admits that it is a strong league this year.

Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Christoph Kramer has insisted that the Bundesliga has a lot of teams in it this year capable of challenging for the top four.

Currently Gladbach occupy fourth in the table, the final Champions League spot, but said that there are still other teams that could catch them throughout the rest of the season.

"The other teams are strong too, but we are doing a good job," ESPN quotes Kramer as saying. "We are playing an attractive game and that is a result of our hard work.

"I am not sure if we are above our own expectations, but obviously we were not predicting fourth. However, the table does not lie after the 14th match day.

"Considering we have had many changes in our defence we are doing well so far and the figures are showing that too."

The 22-year-old is on loan at Gladbach from Bayer Leverkusen.
