Birmingham City resolve their goalkeeping crisis by bringing in Lee Camp from Cardiff City on a permanent deal.

Birmingham City have signed Lee Camp on a free transfer from Cardiff City after being left without a first-choice goalkeeper.

Manager Garry Monk previously revealed that David Stockdale and Tomasz Kuszczak are not part of his plans for the 2018-19 campaign.

Having used academy product Connal Trueman for the 2-2 draw with Norwich City on the opening weekend, Monk has now turned to out-of-favour Cardiff stopper Camp.

The 33-year-old joined the Bluebirds from Rotherham United last summer, but he departs South Wales without making a single appearance for the club.

Camp's 2017-18 campaign was plagued by injury in the first few months, and he was regularly criticised for his performances during the second half of the season on loan with relegated Sunderland.
