Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed that midfielder Christoph Kramer has signed a long-term contract extension with the club.
The 23-year-old Germany international's new deal is due to expire in 2019.
Kramer, who is currently on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach, had been linked with a £20m move to Arsenal before penning fresh terms on Monday.
"After the talks with Bayer's bosses I did not have to hesitate to renew my contract. The total package with team, coach and club just fits," he told the club's official website. "I know Bayer since the youth and it was always my dream to make it into the first team."
Kramer has made eight appearances for the German national team since his debut earlier this year.
