Luis Suarez: "I wouldn't leave Barcelona for triple the money"

Luis Suarez says that it is "impossible" for him to consider leaving Barcelona in the next few years.

Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has insisted that he has no plans to leave the Spanish and European champions and declared that even an offer of three times his current salary would not persuade him to move away.

The Uruguayan scored 25 goals in 43 matches for the Catalan club last season after moving from Liverpool, and he has started the current campaign by hitting 18 in his first 20 games in all competitions.

Speaking at an Adidas promotional event, he revealed that it would be "impossible" for him to leave in the coming years after fulfilling a lifelong dream of playing for the La Liga giants.

"I would not leave Barca for triple the money," he said. "It is impossible for me to leave in the coming years.

"I suffered a lot to get to this club, where I have always dreamed of playing. I want to play here, my family is happy and I know the city like the back of my hand.

"I cannot guarantee that I will retire here, but I will be here for a long time."

Suarez is under contract at Camp Nou until 2019.
