Barcelona team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Granada

Barcelona injury, suspension list vs. Granada

Barcelona will be aiming to make it three wins in a row in all competitions when they travel to Granada in La Liga on Sunday night.

The Catalan giants recorded a 1-0 victory over Sevilla in the league last Friday, and a total of 20 points has left them in second spot in the table, one point behind leaders Real Madrid.

The La Liga champions were also 1-0 winners over Porto in the Champions League on Wednesday evening, with the result moving them onto six points in Group H.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Granada, who have only picked up five points from their eight league matches this term.

Lamine Yamal

Status: Minor doubt Type of injury: Illness Possible return date: October 8 (vs. Granada)

Yamal created history on Wednesday, as he became the youngest-ever player to start a Champions League match, but he had to be replaced late on due to an illness, making him a minor doubt for this clash.

Robert Lewandowski

Status: Out Type of injury: Ankle Possible return date: Unknown

Lewandowski was substituted against Porto on Wednesday after picking up an ankle injury, and he is now facing a period on the sidelines.

Pedri

Status: Out Type of injury: Thigh Possible return date: Unknown

Pedri remains on the sidelines with a thigh issue, but the Spain international is closing in on a return, having made strides forward over the last week or so in terms of his recovery.

Frenkie de Jong

Status: Out Type of injury: Ankle Possible return date: Unknown

De Jong was forced off against Celta Vigo last weekend due to an ankle injury, and the Netherlands international is unlikely to be available until the early stages of November.

Raphinha

Status: Out Type of injury: Thigh Possible return date: Unknown

Raphinha picked up a thigh problem in the first half of the clash with Sevilla in the league last time out, and the Brazilian is now facing a period on the sidelines.
