Andres Iniesta absent for Barcelona

Andres Iniesta will play no part for Barcelona in their Champions League fixture away at AC Milan on Wednesday.

The creative midfielder picked up a thigh injury during Saturday's 4-0 win over Real Zaragoza in La Liga.

The complaint is not thought to be serious, although it has been deemed that Iniesta will remain in Spain to receive treatment.

Pep Guardiola's side have already sealed progression through to the last 16 of the competition. Victory in the San Siro will confirm their status as group leaders.
