Athletic Bilbao midfielder Javi Martinez hopes for "quick resolution" of future

Martinez hopes to sort out future soon

Javi Martinez is hopeful that Bayern Munich will reach an agreement with his club Athletic Bilbao over his transfer to the German giants this summer soon.

Martinez has already said that he wants to leave Bilbao, but Bayern have yet to agree a transfer fee with the Basque giants.

"Like I have said before, I just have to wait and I hope that there can be a quick resolution," the 23-year-old told Bild am Sonntag.

"I cannot say much more about the situation. I am relaxed and I am training to maintain my fitness and I just hope that a decision can be made soon."

Bilbao want Bayern to pay them €40m (£32m) for Martinez.
