Javi Martinez has insisted that he is willing to play in any position for Spain during Euro 2012.
The Athletic Bilbao player was used in a number of positions by his club boss Marcelo Bielsa last season, including the centre of defence and midfield.
With that in mind, Martinez has revealed that he would be happy to take on similar roles should Spain boss Vicente del Bosque require him to.
"This year I've played both as an attacking midfielder and a central midfielder, but Marcelo Bielsa has also utilised me as a defender," the 23-year-old told reporters. "I'm growing to be more comfortable in new positions."
Martinez made his international debut back in 2010.
