Report: Karim Benzema move to Arsenal back on

Arsenal have reportedly held fresh talks with Karim Benzema's representatives over a move to the Emirates Stadium.

The Real Madrid striker appeared to rule out a move to the Gunners by taking to social media on Monday to claim that he is happy at his current club.

Benzema has been linked with Arsenal for most of the summer, and it is thought that the North Londoners are prepared to pay £50m for the France international.

According to The Metro, French football journalist Pierre Menes has told French television that Arsenal have been holding secret talks with Benzema's agent and that a deal could still be done.

Benzema joined Real from Lyon in 2009.
