Lucas Barrios attracts attention from English clubs

Manchester City, Arsenal and Sunderland are all preparing to make an offer for Borussia Dortmund striker Lucas Barrios before the transfer deadline closes on Tuesday, according to Bild.

The Paraguay international has only started three games for the German club this season and as a result is said to be keen on a switch to England in search of regular starting opportunities.

Dortmund are believed to want a fee of £9m for the 27-year-old.

Barrios joined Dortmund in 2009 from Colo-Colo.
