Arsenal to spend £55m on German stars Lukas Pokolski, Mario Gotze?

Arsenal are reportedly prepared to splash £55m on German duo Lukas Podolski and Mario Gotze.

The Gunners are believed to have failed in their approach to land Podolski in the winter window, but are thought to be returning for a second bid in the summer.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is considering whether to pay up to £55m for £20m-rated Podolski and Dortmund teen Gotze, according to talkSPORT.

Recent reports have suggested that the Frenchman will be given just over £50m to spend in the summer.
