Team News: Arsenal unchanged for Watford visit

Arsene Wenger names an unchanged XI as Arsenal welcome Watford to the Emirates.

Arsene Wenger has named an unchanged XI as Arsenal welcome Watford to the Emirates this afternoon.

David Ospina keeps his place between the sticks as number one Petr Cech returns to the bench, with Hector Bellerin, Laurent Koscielny, Gabriel and Nacho Monreal making up the back four.

Francis Coquelin and Mohamed Elneny are named in defensive midfield and Alex Iwobi, who scored in the 2-0 victory at Everton last time out, earns another start alongside Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

Danny Welbeck, who also found the net at Goodison, continues to lead the line as Olivier Giroud is forced to once again start on the bench.

For the visitors, Quique Flores makes three changes to the lineup that fell to defeat to Stoke City last month.

Sebastian Prodl comes into the back four at the expense of Miguel Britos, who drops to the bench, while Valon Behrami's illness means a recall for Ben Watson.

The other change sees Almen Abdi preferred to Jose Jurado as partner for captain Troy Deeney in a two-pronged support for lone striker Odion Ighalo.

Arsenal: Ospina; Bellerin, Gabriel, Koscielny, Monreal; Coquelin, Elneny; Iwobi, Ozil, Sanchez; Welbeck
Subs: Cech, Gibbs, Mertesacker, Chambers, Walcott, Giroud, Campbell

Watford: Gomes; Nyom, Prodl, Cathcart, Ake; Capoue, Watson, Suarez; Abdi, Deeney; Ighalo
Subs: Pantilimon, Britos, Guedioura, Anya, Berghuis, Jurado, Amrabat
