Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger: 'We have to be cautious with Aaron Ramsey's fitness'

Wenger urges 'caution' over Ramsey

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that the club need to be "very cautious" with midfielder Aaron Ramsey's fitness.

The Wales international has been out of action since December with a thigh problem, but was expected to make his return in this Sunday's North London derby.

However, it was confirmed yesterday that Ramsey will miss out after suffering a slight setback in his recover.

According to BBC Sport, Wenger said in Friday's press conference: "He still has recurrent pains in his thigh, we have to be very cautious with him."

Mesut Ozil is expected to be out of action for between three and six weeks, while January arrival Kim Kallstrom is back in the squad for this weekend's match against Tottenham Hotspur.
