Chelsea's Jose Mourinho: 'There is only one manager who is not under pressure'

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho hints that Arsene Wenger is the only manager in the Premier League who can "cry" but will not be under pressure.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has hinted that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is the only manager in the Premier League whose job is not under threat.

The Portuguese coach was asked in his weekly press conference how he felt about the increasing pressure on Newcastle United boss Steve McClaren.

Mourinho responded by listing his fellow coaches who are always wary of their jobs, but opted to bring up an unnamed manager who he claims "can cry" and 'not achieve anything', but is not in danger of being sacked.

While the 52-year-old did not mention Wenger directly, it has been widely assumed that he was referring to the Frenchman.

"In this country only one manager is not under pressure, every other manager is under pressure - [Manuel] Pellegrini, Brendan [Rodgers], Steve McClaren," Mourinho told reporters.

"We cannot lose matches, we cannot be below expectations. I have sympathy for all of them and they have sympathy for me because it is a difficult job.

"There is one for some reason outside that list but good for him. He can speak about the referees before the game, after the game, can push people in the technical area, can cry in the morning, cry in the afternoon and nothing happens. Can not achieve, keep the job, still the king - it's a privilege."

Wenger, who has won three Premier League titles with Arsenal, has been in charge of the club for the last 19 years.
