Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny 'could play', Hector Bellerin out of Spurs clash

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger confirms that Laurent Koscielny could return for the North London derby, but Hector Bellerin is ruled out.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Laurent Koscielny has a chance of featuring in this Sunday's North London derby, but Hector Bellerin has been ruled out.

Koscielny was not part of the defence that suffered a 5-1 battering at the hands of Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday due to a hip injury.

Bellerin had a "small chance" of playing this weekend, but Wenger has now confirmed that the full-back will miss the game as he continues to nurse a groin problem.

In a press conference this morning, Wenger told reporters: "We might have Laurent Koscielny back but Hector Bellerin won't be available."

Arsenal are currently second in the Premier League table, on the same points as leaders Manchester City.
