Arsenal lineup vs. PSG: Predicted XI for Champions League matchday two clash

Any changes from Arteta? How Arsenal could line up against PSG

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta is expected to be working without his five known absentees for Tuesday's Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners had to settle for a point in a goalless draw with Atalanta BC first up, a game that all of Martin Odegaard (ankle), Mikel Merino (shoulder), Oleksandr Zinchenko (calf), Kieran Tierney (hamstring) and Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee) missed due to injury.

None of the quintet will be available for the visit of the French champions either, and Arsenal fans are also awaiting updates on Ben White, who sat out the 4-2 win over Leicester City at the weekend with a knee issue.

However, Jurrien Timber returned from his own knock to fill the void at right-back and should deputise for White once more on Tuesday, where Riccardo Calafiori, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes will also protect the fit-again David Raya; Calafiori took a knock against Leicester but has trained since.

Seventeen-year-old Ethan Nwaneri was a livewire off the bench against Leicester at the weekend, but the teenager has no chance of starting this European affair over Kai Havertz, Declan Rice and Thomas Partey.

For a brief moment, it appeared that Bukayo Saka had become the first man to set up a goal in each of his first six Premier League games of a season on Saturday, only for Leandro Trossard's second to go down as a Wilfred Ndidi own goal.

However, Saka has contributed to more goals than any other Arsenal player in their first five Champions League home games (seven, four of his own and three assists), and the Englishman is set to link arms with Trossard and the rejuvenated Gabriel Martinelli in the final third once more.

Arsenal possible starting lineup: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Havertz, Partey, Rice; Saka, Trossard, Martinelli
