Michiel Kramer bags again in Ado Den Haag win over Dordrecht

Michiel Kramer scores his eighth goal of the season to help Ado Den Haag to a 2-0 victory over fellow Eredivisie strugglers Dordrecht at The Hague.

Michiel Kramer scored his eighth goal of the season as Ado Den Haag beat Dordrecht 2-0 in a bottom-of-the-table Eredivisie clash at The Hague this evening.

The red-hot striker put the hosts ahead on 17 minutes before securing Den Haag the points by providing Mathias Gehrt with their second deep into the second half.

Den Haag were 16th in the standings prior to kickoff despite Kramer's position at the top of the league's scoring charts, but Dordrecht, who were one place below them, have defensive fragilities which the 23-year-old took full advantage of when he collected Xander Houtkoop's pass to fire home.

The visitors responded well and in fact left for the break having had 57% possession and seven shots on goal.

However, they never really severely test Martin Hansen in the home net and Den Haag posed a consistent counter-attacking threat which eventually paid dividends when Gehrt converted from Kramer's 74th-minute cross.

The victory was Den Haag's first in seven games and only second of the season, and takes them to 14th in the table, while Dordrecht remain 17th after suffering a fourth consecutive defeat.
