The Daily Express have made a mistake of Olympic proportions on Wednesday's front page by confusing the British dressage team with their Dutch counterparts.

Carl Hester, Laura Bechtolsheimer and Charlotte Dujardin claimed the gold medal in Tuesday's team event at Greenwich Park.

Despite images of fellow gold medallists Sir Chris Hoy, Laura Trott and Alistair Brownlee on the front page, the Dutch dressage team appear with their bronze medals.

The blunder has been the subject of criticism in other sections of the media.
