Two divers from the Philippines have both scored zero points for their attempts at the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore.

John Elmerson Fabringa and John David Pahoyo failed to score after they both botched their fourth dives in the men's three-metre springboard event.

The duo were not deterred by their failures as they were seen high-fiving after the judges handed out their marks, which has caught the attention of Philippine Sport Commission chairman Richie Garcia.

According to Inquirer.net, Garcia said: "I will give the opportunity for the Philippine Swimming Inc. president [Mark Joseph] to explain because he fought for these divers to come here and compete."

The duo finished in the bottom two of the competition.
