Gerwyn Price has recorded a 6-2 win over Gian van Veen to win Week 9 of the Premier League in Manchester.
Refreshed from missing the Players Championship events earlier this week, Price won three successive games by a 6-2 scoreline.
Luke Humphries, Stephen Bunting and Van Veen were dispatched as the Welshman strengthened his bid for a place in the playoffs.
He roared into a 4-0 lead in the final, setting the tone with a 128 checkout in the opening leg, and Van Veen had no answer as his opponent averaged 105.84, helped by missing just three darts at a double.

Price is now level on points with Jonny Clayton in second place, two points behind Luke Littler who remains top despite a 6-5 defeat to Van Veen in the quarter-finals.
Their contest ended on a feisty note as Littler took exception to something that happened between both players missing match darts.

Despite his early exit in what was his home event, Littler holds a nine-point advantage when it comes to finishing in the top four.
Michael van Gerwen is clinging onto the fourth and final spot despite losing 6-3 to Stephen Bunting, who is now within four points of the Dutchman.
Josh Rock's 6-4 win over Clayton also keeps the Northern Irishman interested, albeit while remaining bottom and five points adrift of seventh-placed Bunting.
