Kenny claims silver in men's sprint

Team England's Jason Kenny has claimed silver in men's sprint after losing the gold-medal race to New Zealand's Sam Webster at the Commonwealth Games.

Webster won the first race of the final with a time of 10.120s, but Kenny managed to rally in the second race to claim victory on the line to set up a decider.

However, the 23-year-old showed great speed to pull away from the Olympic champion in the third race to win the gold medal with a time of 10.408s.

Webster's win is New Zealand's second gold medal of the Games in the velodrome.
