England allow Yorkshire Vikings batsmen Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow to play in this Friday's Roses encounter against the Lancashire Lightning.

Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow have been given permission by England to play for the Yorkshire Vikings against rivals Lancashire Lightning in the Twenty20 Blast on Friday.

Both players are currently in the England squad for the ongoing Test series against Sri Lanka.
