Steven Davies signs new Surrey deal

Surrey wicketkeeper Steven Davies signs a new two-year contract with the County Championship side.

Wicketkeeper Steven Davies has committed his future to Surrey by agreeing to terms on a new contract.

The 28-year-old's previous deal had been due to expire next year, but he has now tied himself to the club until the end of the 2016 season.

Davies produced some good form with the bat last term, having averaged 40 and scored over 1,000 runs.

The left-hander joined Surrey in 2010 following a six-year stint with his hometown county Worcestershire.
