Eoin Morgan, Kevin Pietersen join Sunrisers Hyderabad for Indian Premier League

Eoin Morgan and Kevin Pietersen will team up in the Indian Premier League after both were bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad at the pre-season auction in Bengaluru.

Eoin Morgan will join up with his former England teammate Kevin Pietersen in the Indian Premier League after both were bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad.

At the pre-season auction in Bengaluru, the Sunrisers were the only team to bid for Pietersen and they agreed to pay his base price of around £205,000.

In similar circumstances to Pietersen, Morgan, who is currently competing at the ICC World Cup with England, was signed up by the team for his base price of around £156,000.

Ravi Bopara will also join the pair at Sunrisers after he was bought for £100,000, while Yuvraj Singh was snapped up for a large fee of £1.6m by the Delhi Daredevils.

The IPL runs from April 8 until May 24.
